 timber+trowel projects @ The Woods on Pender

Timber+Trowel completed several infrastructure projects over a couple of years at this micro resort nestled in the forest of Pender Island in BC.

Throughout all of these projects we used as many locally sawn lumber products as possible, avoided the use of toxic chemicals and minimized the impact of each project on the landscape.

We also completed a full rebuild of an older Airstream trailer; using formaldehyde-free plywood, bamboo countertops, natural wood finishing products like Osmo and tung oil, and recycled material-based cabinetry, we attempted to create a modern and comfortable, aesthetically pleasing retrofit. Some creative carpentry and design, focusing on minimalism and functionality, with a built-in feel while remaining structurally solid to resist the daily abuse of customers.
